2020 in review

buying things doesn’t fill a void or give you purpose.

in 2020, i was pessimistic. visiting my girlfriend in florida for thanksgiving made me feel happy and purposeful, unlike my job in washington.

i moved back to florida, leaving behind most possessions. now, i live with gratitude and optimism, not caring for material things.

what changed? prioritizing money and success over personal connections can be damaging.

now, living with my girlfriend and with fewer things, i focus on providing value to others and sharing, not taking.

i’m ready to start anew, to contribute and collaborate. this year is about giving.
